Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SketchPilot ("the Service"), operated by Praxie Group BV, a company registered in Belgium ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using SketchPilot, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using SketchPilot on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

1. Service Description

SketchPilot is an AI-powered diagramming platform that provides:

  • Real-time speech-to-diagram conversion using AI
  • Support for 32+ diagram types including architecture, flowcharts, wireframes, ERDs, and more
  • Microsoft Teams integration for live meeting diagramming
  • Collaborative diagram editing during meetings
  • Diagram export in multiple formats (SVG, PNG, PDF)

2. Account Registration

You may use SketchPilot anonymously with limited features or sign in with Google or Microsoft. When you create an account, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscription Plans and Payments

3.1 Plans

SketchPilot offers a free tier with limited features and a Pro subscription with additional capabilities. Plan details and pricing are available on our website.

3.2 Usage Limits

Each plan includes monthly AI token allowances. Anonymous users receive 250,000 tokens/month, free accounts 2,000,000 tokens/month, and Pro accounts 15,000,000 tokens/month.

3.3 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or the Stripe customer portal.

3.4 Refunds

All payments are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

3.5 Price Changes

We may modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

4. Your Data

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all diagrams and content you create using SketchPilot ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

4.2 Data Storage

Your Content is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

4.3 Data Processing

Our processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

4.4 Data Deletion

You may delete your diagrams at any time. Upon termination of your account, we will delete Your Content within 90 days, unless retention is required by law.

5. Third-Party Integrations

5.1 Available Integrations

SketchPilot integrates with third-party services including:

  • Microsoft Teams (meeting side panel and transcript processing)
  • Anthropic Claude (AI diagram generation)
  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Google and Microsoft OAuth (authentication)

5.2 Third-Party Terms

Your use of third-party integrations is subject to the respective terms and conditions of those providers. You are responsible for compliance with those terms.

5.3 No Liability for Third Parties

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services. We do not endorse and are not liable for any acts or omissions of third-party providers.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use SketchPilot for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of SketchPilot
  • Use SketchPilot to develop a competing product
  • Exceed rate limits or abuse the Service in a way that impacts other users
  • Attempt to circumvent usage quotas or subscription limits

7. AI-Generated Content

Diagrams are generated by AI based on your speech or text input. The Service does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of generated diagrams. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before relying on it.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Property

SketchPilot, including its software, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by Praxie Group BV and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service.

8.2 Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions about SketchPilot, we may use them without obligation to you.

9. Service Availability

9.1 Best Effort

We provide SketchPilot on a "best effort" basis. We do not guarantee any specific uptime or availability.

9.2 Maintenance

We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We will endeavor to provide advance notice when possible.

9.3 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE
  • DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED
  • THE SERVICE IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS
  • THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Praxie Group BV and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and data, contact us at the email below.

13.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice.

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.

16. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights freely.
